Cheap lettuce?
That one world order theory makes sense too.
Wait, how can we run out of water if the ice caps are melting too fast?

this chart is out of date and i am wondering if anyone can find more contemporary statistics?.
i am wondering if there is some way possible for wbts to be billed for medical expenses caused by the psychological harm inflicted when dubs end up in dr. offices or hospital as a result of spiritual trauma and spiritual warfare?.
seems to me that we could make them take some responsibility.. (i am not providing the link because this is second-hand information).
I did a google search myself on drug induced schizophrenia and there were 1,790 hits. It also seems that there is much debate about the full causes, even within the medical community.
The debate is whether illicit drug use can cause it, or exacerbates it. A large percentage of schizophrenic (but not all) have a history of drug use. It certainly doesn't help it.
It generally manifests in women later in life, as far as into the late 30's. I've always thought Andrea Yates, who was very bright and had no history of drug use, was a very tragic example of that. (and most people with schizophrenia will never get to the point of Andrea Yates) Most are able to manage their symptoms very well, as has been pointed out.
i recently learned that a brother who used to be my husband's best friend sold his home and moved into his fathers house with his wife and two young kids.
this poor guy was always struggling with money issues because of not working extra because of the meetings and he was an elder so he had a lot of responsibilties and could not do much overtime.
also he never went to higher education and was a self taught painter but had no medical insurance which put a strain on the family financially.. i know other people outside the jdubs have financial problems too but don't you agree the witnesses seem to have a large proportion of their members living on or below the poverty line?
This is probably one of those thorny issues that hurts too much to think about, for most out here.
My only relative in the troof had moved with his wife "to serve where the need was greater" 30 yrs. ago in a very depressed area. They were able to live pretty well even on odd jobs. About 14 yrs. ago I reconnected with them and went to visit. They had sold their nice little house and moved to a transient type apartment, in an industrial area (!?) of that same town. I guessed that the house was probably their only asset. It freaked me out. Now they'd closing in on 60 yrs. old. It's sad.
the reports:.
"kingdom hall survived!
"as far as we know no brothers and sisters lost their homes in the mountain areas.
after 9-11 they said things like" oh well they were going to die at Armageddon, and now they will get a resurrection"

Somewhere I remember hearing that off all types of hallucinations, ole factory (smelling) hallucinations are the most common, and people have them all the time whether they register in your consciousness or not.
although i have only been affiliated with this site for a couple of weeks now there are a few things i have noticed.
i think it is great that so many of you have your own opinions and think for yourselves.
i have recieved alot of great advice and not all of it has been the same.
That's great fadingelder. You have much to look forward too, b/c it keeps getting better.
I know how you fee even though I've been gone a long time. When I faded it was with the intent of going back eventually. Finally the point had come when I knew all things WT needed to be examined and a decision had to be made. It was a bit scary at first to read and consider people who I knew the WTS didn't approve of. Thankfully the rational part of my brain had gotten stronger and kept overruling the "thought blocking" instilled so long ago.
Hopefully many more will do the same.
i just had an interesting conversation, though frustrating, with a student about the subject of faith.
i have never heard a definition for faith that i could understand.
every conversation i have had on the subject has only fallen short of establishing what it is.
Shawn, what are your feelings positive or negative regarding the future?
Whatever your answer, since there is no way to know concretely, that would be faith.
Either way, you probably have no trouble believing there will be a future.
Just a small, admittedly simple, comparison.
i don't like cigarettes all that much (even though i actually tried to take up the habit, i found out i don't have an addictive personality - same reason why i'm not a coffee person either) but i do enjoy a nice cigar.
notice i said a nice cigar, not those nasty chemically-flavored things that taste like froot loops and smell like a crotch fire.
i'm talking about a nice cuban monte cristo or a real leaf-wrapped cigarillo.
Brent R, wildman and tobacco farmer.
i'm tired of being an apostate, atheist, agnostic, take your pick.
i was going to start calling myself a heretic, but then i decided to look up apostate in the thesaurus.
look at all the lovely words we have to choose from:.
Infidel covers any radical religion that happens to be at hand or in your face at any given moment.
due to the lack of brothers did you marry down??.
i've seen it time and time again really lovely sister marry total dork..
I've seen it time and time again really lovely sister marry total dork.
I have seen this too. I didn't want to say anything and possibly offend any fmr. bros. who may secretly fear they were dorky (of course you weren't!), or anyone who married a dork either, for that matter.
One time, a very lovely sister was getting married to a very nice brother (uhhh, ....)? How do you put this gently? Well, they appeared to not be equally matched looks-wise, so to speak. And frankly, he was..........fairly slight of build, a good strong wind could've blown him away.
So, the group of sisters threw the betrothed sister a lingerie party. She recv'd lots of good stuff. Considering the group, I was surprised to see some rather racey items and kept wondering if that brother was gonna know what hit him. He looked pretty lost most of the time to begin with.
